31 Seribu Island Residents Participate Construction Building Services Training and Certification

As many as 31 residents of Seribu Island participate construction building services training and certification.
Work Competency Certification
The training is realized through collaboration with Jakarta Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Agency (CKTRP) together with Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), and the Directorate General of Construction Development, Construction Services Center Region III Jakarta.
Head of the Jakarta Region III Construction Services Center, Samuel Elazar Darma Putra Tampubolon, said that this training is an effort by the PUPR Ministry to improve the competence and quality of human resources so that they have global competitiveness and support quality infrastructure development.
"The government requires construction workers to have a Work Competency Certification (SKK). This training is very important for people who work in the building services sector to follow," he said, Tuesday (9/10).
Samuel explained, his party also collaborated with industry partners, namely, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. This activity also aims to facilitate construction entrepreneurs in finding guaranteed and competent construction services.
"I hope all participants can participate seriously because this is useful for increasing knowledge and insight, especially in the field of construction services," he added.
Head of Sub-group of Construction Coaching Empowerment of Jakarta CKTRP Agency, Augustianus Fabian, explained the program is participated by 31 people of Pramuka and Panggang Island from September 10-11, 2024.
"Participants are workers who are engaged in the field of building services. Participants are expected to be able to develop their knowledge, as well as improve their professionalism and quality," he explained.
On the first day, he added, participants were given learning about materials that are often used in various construction processes, then there was a practical test for installing bricks, reinforced concrete, and other materials.
"On the second day, participants will take the exam. Competent participants will receive a Construction Competency Certificate (SKK) issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP)," he added.
Seribu Utara Island Vice Sub-district Head, Yulihardi, thanked the CKTRP Agency and Construction Development, Construction Services Center Region III Jakarta for providing the training.
"Hopefully this training can be continued, not only in Panggang Island Urban Village but can be held in other urban villages because this training is very useful," he hoped.
